Memon Grammar School situated at 10, Nandan Kanan, a prime location of Chittagong City is exactly adjacent to Chittagong Primary Education Office and opposite to Riffle Club, Chittagong. On 29 September 1967, Memon Grammar School was founded by Seth Haji Dawood & Haji Ahmed, Presidents of Chittagong Memon Jamat. Being introduced as an Urdu Medium School, Memon Grammar School has reached its glorious fifty years of success. However, after the independence of Bangladesh, the school had been turned into a Bengali Medium School.

Later in the year 1997, the school changed itself as an English Version Junior High School. Since then the school has been growing step by step ensuring academic excellence. Consequently, in January 2005, the school has been approved as a complete Secondary School by Ministry of Education, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chittagong. Since 2005 a number of students sit for the SSC Examination & attain GPA 5 under Chittagong Education Board each year. Now this school is a full-fledged English Version High School under National Curriculum.

In fact Memon Grammar School is a completely nonprofit school in Chittagong city and its main motto is to ensure quality education for the children of middle class, helpless and low income families. Chittagong Memon Jamat is the main organizing committee of the school. With the passage of time, this school has already achieved an excellent position as one of the leading English Version Schools in the port city of Chittagong. Now, the entire school campus is under CCTV surveillance & all the class rooms are also under CCTV camera.

Classes are conducted through Multimedia Projectors. All the teachers are not only highly qualified and experienced but also trained in their respective fields. Because of the well spacious Computer Lab each student can enjoy all types of sophisticated facilities of Modern Science. Labs of other disciplines like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture and English Language are also available in the school campus.
